The Ugly

Donte Stallworth.

The Cleveland Browns wide receiver is the greatest example of what filth has infiltrated our great game of football. Donte was originally drafted as the 13th overall pick in 2002 by the Saints.

While in Philadelphia playing for the Eagles in 2007 it was reported by The Philadelphia Inquirer that Donte was in the league substance abuse program.
In March of 2008 Donte signed a seven-year $35 million deal.

And Then the worst happened

On March 14, 2009 Donte was driving his fancy little Bentley, struck and killed a pedestrian in Miami Beach. Stallworth admitted to drinking and according to several news sources had a blood-alchohol-content of .12, past Floridas legal limit.
AND this isnt even the worst part.
After Donte was drunk, killed someone- HE ONLY SPENT 24 DAYS IN JAIL. Yes, apparently being drunk, killing someone, and paying them off allows you to literally get away with murder.

Donte was suspended by NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell, for a year, without pay, but ..BUT will be reinstated after the Super Bowl this February.

Now, if seem just wrong to you, I urge you to send a letter, or to just tell everyone you know to write to Roger Goodell and tell him this is bs.

The Bad

And here is where we get into the athletes that are not the role model, stand up citizens that most of them are. In this post we'll go over The Bad, and the biggest cheater known to modern sports. Yes, you guessed it....Barry Bonds.
Barry Bonds started out his career with the Pittsburgh Pirates. As we can see in this photo, Barry had a lot of, uh, lets call it "growth" during his career.

Bond's currently holds the record as Home Run King, however many people argue that his record should be thrown out of Cooperstown since he has tested positive for steorids during his playing days. In 2007 Bonds was indicted on perjury and obstruction charges and the case is still not settled today. Bonds has often kept quiet about his alleged steroid use, but one thing is for sure: Bonds is not a normal player.

Heres another image to drive home my point- no one grows that much.
For all the players in the MLB that work hard and play hard and will never be in Cooperstown, Barry Bonds is am embarrassment, proof positive of the laxidasical rule of the MLB's commisioner, Bud Selig, and the league. For those of us who are fans of players that work hard, dont cheat and will never hold records, we need to speak out for them.
Now, granted, Bonds is not the worst athlete known to man. There are many more athletes who have done worse. But has this type of behavior, that is frowned upon but then brushed over, opened the flood gates for other athletes to run amok and piss all over their fans?
One may never know.

For those of you who want to make a change, I urge you to send a letter, email, or a post it note to Bud Selig,

The Good

So today I thought I would go over some of the great athletes who set examples for us all, some who got a little messed up, and the ones who should be buried alive. Yes, these are subjective, but this is my blog.
Well start out today with The Good-
Peyton Manning.

The Three-time MVP, Superbowl Champ, and nine-time pro-bowl selected quarterback could be the perfect example of athlete behavior on and off the field. Since being drafted in 1999, Peyton has had no on or off-field drama, and has maintained a low profile while also being on of the greatest quarterbacks of his time, and arguably, ever.
Peyton's off-field time is spent with his Charity, the Peyback Foundation, spending time at Peyton Manning's children Hospital at St. Vincent, and running his summer-time camp with this family, the Manning Passing Academy.
(and becuase this blog is run by a girl, we must include the gratuitous shirtless photo)

GREETINGS SPORTS FANS

Welcome to my lovely blog! I'm sure many of you are wondering what you're doing here, and what this is all about. Well, fellow fans, I am so SICK and tired of athletes being total douchebags. I think that there should be some sort of agreement within the CBA (collective bargaining agreement for you newbies) that states that players have a moral or ethical responsibility to themselves and fans. Over the course of this blog i will be giving all of you fans examples of great athletes who exemplify a moral and responsibility to themselves and their fans, and the players who have not done so.

I would LOVE to get all of the commissioners attention to my cause, Roger Goodell, Gary Bettman, Bud Selig and David Stern. They all need to stand up to athletes and say "NO!" But i need you, my readers, to spread the word. Make it known to all your sports fan friends that were sick and fed up with these jerks being paid millions of dollars.

Keep checking in for updates!
